General Santos — the Tuna Capital of the Philippines — has quietly become one of Mindanao’s busiest pickleball cities. From 13-court mega-venues downtown to breezy outdoor spots beside a brewery, GenSan players are spoiled for choice. Here’s a guide to where you can play, whatever your level or budget.
The big indoor venues
Pickle World GenSan
With 13 indoor courts at the NCCC Compound downtown, Pickle World is the largest and most accessible place to play in the city. Open from early morning until 2 AM, it’s a reliable drop-in spot for beginners and regulars alike, with rental paddles, beginner sessions and shower rooms.
Third Shot Pickleground
Third Shot brings five indoor courts with USAPA-recommended PVC flooring to a warehouse in Brgy. Lagao. It’s built for serious players — think pro shop, changing rooms, a ball-thrower machine and coaching — but it’s just as welcoming for a casual game. Rates run around ₱300–350 per hour.
Dink O’Clock
Also in Labangal, Dink O’Clock offers five acrylic-coated indoor courts, a reception lounge and a dinking practice wall. Open from 6 AM to 1 AM, it’s an easy choice for both early birds and after-work players, at ₱300–350 per hour.
Outdoor & community courts
Altori Park Pickleball
A certified JOOLA facility on Nuñez Street with a mix of indoor and outdoor courts, an on-site café and a relaxed, community feel. Coaching and paddle rentals are available, and rates sit around ₱250–300 per hour depending on the time slot.
Court Zero Racquet Club
In Brgy. City Heights, Court Zero offers three covered courts with night lighting, a café and spectator seating. Its beginner-friendly open-play rates — a flat fee for up to three hours — make it one of the best value spots in the city for newcomers.
Dadiangas Pickleball Courts & Sunshine Compound Pickleball
Two more local favorites — Dadiangas on Nuñez Street and Sunshine Compound in Lagao — round out the affordable, community-driven end of the GenSan scene, with courts typically from ₱200–250 per hour.
Lagare Farms & Parks Pickleball
For a change of scenery, Lagare Farms & Parks in Brgy. Apopong pairs pickleball with an open, park-like setting — a laid-back option for weekend games away from the city center.
Planning your game
GenSan rates are among the friendliest in the country, generally running ₱200–350 per hour, with cheaper daytime slots and open-play sessions for as little as ₱50–100 per player. Most venues take bookings through apps or their Facebook pages, and many welcome walk-ins when courts are free — though weekends and evenings fill up fast.
